Pension U Kohoutů – Welcome!

A family run hotel Pension U Kohoutů is located right in the centre of Horní Planá, a small picturesque town at the foothills of the Bohemian Forests at the altitude of 776 m, a few steps from the Lipno lake waterside. It is only 10 km to Schöneben, the border crossing to Austria. The town and its surroundings are ideal for active holidays and sightseeing. The region offers rich culture programmes during the peak seasons.

The location of the hotel is an ideal starting point for hiking; cycling or even mountain-biking trips of a different difficulty grades. Windsurfing and kite-surfing are very popular sports in the area. The Lipno Lake is a fishing paradise; permits can be purchased in Horní Planá tourist office. We are happy to arrange for a guided city tour in Cesky Krumlov, the UNESCO protected town, a horseback riding trip or give tips on interesting places to visit in the surroundings.
